First Blog Post!

As the title states, this is my first official blog post! Petals With A Purpose is my way to express personal joys, hopes, questions, and passions of life. It is my hope and prayer that these posts will be an encouragement and inspiration to each reader.

What exactly will I be posting? Excellent question! Scripture, poems, song lyrics, essays, and glimpses from my own life. I don’t want to sound preachy. I will try my best to be frank and clear, and on points of Scripture, to unashamedly share. I don’t intend to post everyday, but will add something for you each week. Yes, I said for you. This blog is as much about you as it is about me. And that is why I encourage each of you to comment or message me if something encourages you, or if you have any questions. If there is a specific subject, poem, or piece of encouragement you want to share, then by all means: be comfortable to share. I only ask two things with all comments and messages: be considerate and be honest.
