Life, Teacher’s Life

Exploring

“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”

-Helen Keller

I’m a planner and a busy bee. I want things occurring perfectly, falling into each designated time, circle, and space. Despite my wishes and best attempts, things don’t go perfectly. Ever. And I’m okay with it.

Nahhhh. Not always. Nonetheless I’m growing through it.

Because things don’t go perfectly, I’m constantly improvising, stretching, and relearning. Despite things not falling perfectly into place, I’m still daring to explore and expand my horizons and push my limits.

I still explore new goals, claim new heights, and embrace new spaces because life is an adventure. Purposefully embrace each adventure.

Next year, I’ll be heading abroad to teach English. Stay tuned for more adventures and details!

Am I nervous? Undeniably.

Am I exhausted? Usually.

Am I excited? Undoubtedly!

Am I quitting? Unthinkable.

.

.

I’m daring to explore.

I’m daring to persevere.

And through this journey, I will grow.

  1. Congratulations! I am so proud of you. That is amazing news! I know you are going to defy gravity in anything you set your mind to. Please keep us all updated.

For the first time in my life I have fallen in love with baking and cooking. It’s a new creative outlet I never thought I would try. I’m still writing and performing as well.

Your students are so lucky to have you! You got this!

    1. Thank you for your affirming words! I feel lucky to have the students 🙌🏽

Baking and cooking: yesssss! It’s a wonderful feeling to tangibly create something and then devour it and share it.

Keep up the writing and performing! 😁
